Zeon Corporation (“Zeon”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) has established this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to protect personal information and ensures its appropriate handling in accordance with the Policy.

Our collection, retaining, management, and use of personal information, described in Section 2, is conducted in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws, ordinances, and guidelines.
2.Personal Information We Collect and Purposes for Its Use
We may request personal information of shareholders or business partners as necessary and retain, manage, and use it internally. We also obtain, retain, manage, and use personal information of employees to the extent necessary for carrying out business activities.
The types of personal information we collect and the purposes for which it is used are described in the table below.
In principle, whenever we collect personal information, we clearly state the purposes for its use in the Policy, on our corporate website, in writing, or orally.
We may not state the purpose for collecting personal information when its use is obvious, such as when requesting contact information in relation to customer inquiries or requests or when we exchange business cards according to customary business practices. Even in such situations, our use of the personal information will be limited within the scope of purposes described below.

4.Entrustment of Personal Data Management
Handling of all or part of your personal data may be entrusted to third parties as necessary to achieve the purposes of use described in Section 2. In such cases, Zeon will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrustee.
5.Joint Use of Personal Data
Personal data may be jointly used between Zeon and the Zeon Group as follows.

7.Use of Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) for tracking and analysis to provide you with more relevant services.
(1) Overview of Cookies
A cookie is a small text file containing randomly generated letters and numbers that a web server sends to your browser, to be stored on and retrieved from your device when you visit a website. We use Cookies to collect information such as your browsing history, service usage, location, and other attributes, none of which personally identify you. 8.Procedures for Disclosure of Retained Personal Data
Upon request from you or your agent for various actions regarding your retained personal data, including notification of our purpose of using data that identifies you, disclosure of the data, disclosure of records of data provision to third parties, correction/addition/deletion of the data, or discontinuation of use or cessation of provision to third parties of retained personal data, we will respond appropriately in accordance with legal provisions after authenticating that the request if from you. If we are unable to authenticate that the request was made by you or your agent, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
