Mega Solar Power Plant Begins Operations on Land Owned by ZEONPrint Page

A mega solar power plant constructed on land owned by ZEON CORPORATION (President: Kimiaki Tanaka) in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido, and operated by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (President: Masanobu Komoda) commenced operations as scheduled on April 1, 2014. Since November 2012, ZEON has been leasing part of this property to Mitsui Fudosan for its mega solar power generation business.

Through its 20-year lease to Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., ZEON is supporting power generation from a renewable energy source and thereby contributing to society by helping the nation achieve a robust energy mix while also protecting the global environment.

Location 148-17 Yufutsu, Tomakomai City, Hokkaido
Area Approximately 18 hectares
