1. Price increase by the product type
Cyclopentane: 20 yen/kg
2. Effective date
The price rises will come into effect for the June 1, 2006 product delivery.
3. Reason for the price increase
Product profitability has continued to suffer due to price hikes of crude oil, and naphtha as well as rising utility costs, despite our continuing efforts to reduce manufacturing costs. Therefore it is difficult to ensure an ongoing stable supply without adjusting prices to maintain profitability.
