In the aroma chemicals category, ZEON is well known as a market leader of Green Notes (Leaf alcohol and Leaf esters) and Jasmin Notes (Methyl dihydrojasmonate (MDJ), CEPIONATE® and Super CEPIONATE®).
ZEON also provides various C5 chemicals such as Cyclopentane, Cyclopentene, Cyclopentanone and those derivatives for various industries under the theme of “C5 Stream Power.”

cis-3-Hexenol (Leaf alcohol) and Leaf esters are representative green note aroma chemicals. These fresh green notes play an important role in flavors and fragrances.

Jasmin Notes
CLAIGEON® (Methyl dihydrojasmonate, MDJ) is one of the most important aroma chemicals in the fragrance industry. For fine fragrances, CEPIONATE® and Super CEPIONATE® (both are high epimerized MDJ) are formulated in many famous perfumes.
Lactone Notes
